artax film lab
Stop motion animation (age 6+)
Through stop motion animation, students create short films using iPads and clay. The film lab varies in length and layout depending on the possibilities and wishes from you as the client. I offer shorter workshops where students can try out the technique, but also in-depth, where we can focus on idea development, dramaturgy, scripts, planning, execution and post production. I work a lot with group dynamics and the students' ability to work together with an idea and then plan and execute it.
The stop motion film lab workshop are the most popular one over the years. It has proven to be a good projection surface for learning, for formulating feelings and it provides a new opportunity to express oneself when words are not enough or when the language is new.
Artax film lab
Fiction (age 10+)
The students produce a fiction film from ”grain to loaf”. They work both in front of and behind the camera.
We will focus on idea development, dramaturgy, script, planning, execution and post production. In this project,
the group dynamics are in great focus, and the students' ability to work together with an idea and then plan and execute it.
Immersion (age 10+)
If you want a workshop that focuses on a specific part of the production stage, that is also fine.

Remake (age 6+)
Create jewelry from old toys, put pins on your jacket, screen print your shirt or bag.
A try-on concept where participants get to work with different recycled materials and screen print.
This is a personal favorite and The summer workshops in Falun resulted in a wonderfully crackling creative party!
There is also the opportunity to delve deeper into one of the parts of the workshop. For example, screen printing or remake jewelry production only.
